also, it doesn't seem to say the voltage/AH rating. For all we know, it'll run at 3.6 volts, 500mAH.

I doubt it. They said it would initially be used for automotive and industrial purposes, which means that it would probably be a nice voltage(probably around 6V) and have a good sized capacity (atleast a couple amps).

It is unfortunate that they didn't say though, and it probably will cost a ton.

Toshiba's miracle battery will come to market next year, the company said, initially in automotive and industrial applications. However, there's a clear benefit for mobile devices. Toshiba's prototype 600mAh cell, for example, was clearly developed with compact gadgets in mind: it measures 6.2 x 3.5 x 0.4cm. ®

Rayovac makes ones that charge in just 15 minutes.
RadioShack also makes an identical battery.
