Re: The Benheck.com Experience at Midwest Gaming Classic 2009
I am bringing along a DLP projector and a screen. I don't know if there will be enough room to set it up but if there is we will have a way to project the images for anyone to see.
The projector takes VGA, S-Video and Composite. Actually I think it takes component too via a converter cable.
I can't promise it will work well with the classic equipment though. I've found that, sometimes, digital displays have problems with the analog output from the classic hardware. I have a nice 10" LCD TV that chokes on some of my Atari 5200 stuff. I assume its because, back then, they would sometimes play loose and free with the NTSC signal generation and TV's, being analog and somewhat forgiving, didn't have trouble displaying the signal.
Also, if there is interest, I could bring along a DVD player and we could watch old MST3K episodes, or copies of Ben's movies, in the suite you guys have, assuming you do have a room at the event.

No I don't think that was me, but it might have been. And I don't know where Richland center is.

Re: The Benheck.com Experience at Midwest Gaming Classic 2009
I am taking the ultimate challenge for myself, I'm trying to finish a portable in a week. Normally for me, this is impossible, but somehow (being helped by worlds easiest project), I have finished all the hardware work since saturday, and have 5 days to make a case, wish me luck!

Well we pulled off that portable with 4 hours last year in a bathroom... I'm sure that a more reasonable time frame would only produce an amazing hack!benheck wrote:I wonder if we could have a "super project" that we all sort of work on all weekend... Any ideas?
EDIT: We could sell it and maybe donate the money to a charity of some sorts?

Re: The Benheck.com Experience at Midwest Gaming Classic 2009
y'all should put it on ebay! ben's ps3 lappy fetched a pretty penny on there. If I heard right 25k
You would have you use benheck as your major selling point though
then donate a 4th of it to those crappy animal shelters

Remember since the booth is free we can't actually sell anything at the show, but we can talk about our stuff, eBay, etc.

I was just thinking about auctioning the product on eBay or something, or here!

Here's a link to the final schedule.
http://benheck.com/Downloads/BHE_Schedule_2009.xls
? indicate where we need to schedule people to man the tables.
I figured we'd get together on Friday night and fill those out, but feel free to discuss that and when you might feel like working on your projects (during the VARIOUS MODDING times).

Wow, cyan... Unless you've played games in 4 colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black), you haven't lived.
