Changing trigger buttons to non-analog
I've nearly finished my portable, but I just found out that the trigger buttons won't fit. So how would I change the triggers to non-analog?

Re: Changing trigger buttons to non-analog
The gamecube triggers are analog, so I want them to only be on or off, without the slide potentiometer.

I think he's asking if it will still work without the analog part, like if any game uses the analog part.
Re: Changing trigger buttons to non-analog
gamecube controllers have actual digital buttons at the bottom of the slide. shouldn't take any modding at all, I wouldn't think.confuserized wrote:The gamecube triggers are analog, so I want them to only be on or off, without the slide potentiometer.
edit: to clarify, they have both pots and buttons, removing the pots should still leave the buttons in tact which should probably do what you're looking for. won't be able to do things that require the analog features of it, though (like I think Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow requires you to partially hold down one of the triggers to use the scope or something along those lines). but for the most part, I think the buttons at the bottom of the triggers should work.
