Roms Instead Of Game Cards?
I was looking at most of Ben's handheld gaming units and was wondering if it was possible to save space by installing a SD or MemoryStick Reader and using roms instead of came cards. it would save space and you could have many games in one

Depends on the system. Only some can be modded to run ROMs.

My opinion is that if you want to skip real carts and use a flashcard system, just get a PSP with emulators. Or a GP2X.

Excellent

If a flash cartridge exists for the system you want to use, yes.
If there isn't a flash cartridge, you'd have to figure out how to make one.
But, like jjhammerstein said, if you're just going to use roms anyway, you might as well go for a modern system that can run them one way or another (GP2X, PSP, DS).
