The law says you are responsible, not him. If you want to avoid liability, get delivery confirmation for $0.60 and insurance for less than $1. If not, then tough crap.

I have gotten screwed like you before, where it gets lost, and you just have to suck up and pay. And never ship without delivery confirmation and insurance again.

Luckly I still have a gold copy (Not in the greatest condition though) If your willing to pay for shipping, I'll ship the cheapest way WITH Delivery Confirmation, I'll do that. And palmertech your probably right I'm going to put DC on everything. Let me know so we can finally put an end to this mess.

You seem to forget that I also had my first delivery lost. I initially sent $10 which apparently never arrived. I then sent a copy of Super Mario Kart, which cost me an additional $5 to ship. All in all, I spent $15 AND a copy of Super Mario Kart. My end of the bargain is more than fulfilled.
