Re: GBA HELP
yes, but are they the same revisions? sometimes first revisions don't work with second revisions, but sometimes they do
I guess that it's just luck if it works.

Re: GBA HELP
how do i tel the revisions, they both have the extra brightness if that's what you mean, well at least one did before the charger port messed up, and the other before it got snapped off

Re: GBA HELP
ok, then they are both interchangeable

Re: GBA HELP
There are two revisions of the GBA SP. There are mainly two ways of separating them.
1) By the model number. Rev 1: AGS-001. Rev 2: AGS-101. This should say on the sticker in the bottom.
2) By checking how the backlight works. (Well, a little late now, but maybe you can remember) On rev 1 it's an on/off switch. On rev 2 it's an high/low switch, ie, you can't turn off the backlight on rev 2.
Only parts from the same revision will work.
Edit, one more thought... Did you try swapping the batteries?

You know, you could just rip them apart and try. Its not like you're going to break them.nic8082242 wrote:how do i tel the revisions, they both have the extra brightness if that's what you mean, well at least one did before the charger port messed up, and the other before it got snapped off
