Pandora batteries-> 20 years later

Here's a thought:
You can buy ready-made Pandora batteries.
They range in cost from $3 to $40.
Some can even switch between being a normal battery, and a Pandora battery.
There are tons of manufacturers making these things.

Right now, on ebay, you can still buy an Codebreaker for a Gameboy color.
Or a Game Genie for an NES.
Something tells me we'll be able to get Pandora batteries for years to come.

And hey, worst case scenario, somehow, for some strange reason, you CAN'T keep buying these things somewhere down the road, then someone will make a new one.
Not necessarily a new Pandora battery or anything, but simply a new way to accomplish the same thing.

And even still, who's to say something better isn't on the way?
We used to use TIFF Exploits, they were freaking cool, omigawd wow type stuff, now nobody uses them.
Savegame exploits have been and are still used!
Yeah, the Pandora has done something rather different than anything else we've had in the past, but really, I could see something new happening, something we haven't seen before.
