Just one more usless birthday thread, 'kay?

Post by Twilight Wolf »

Everyone else does it, so...

Well, yeah, today's my birthday. I'm turning 15, for those of you interested. It's kind of strange, I couldn't think of a single thing I really wanted to get this year, so my parents are probably just going to give me cash. I might put it towards a nice new TV...

Well, anyways, yeah, happy birthday to me.

Hope that cash gets put to good use. Do not get a TV, though, get a decent LCD moniter and a standalone tuner box/PCI tuner card, if you have a desktop.

Thanks, guys!

As for getting an LCD monitor, I'd do that, but I don't have a desktop, just a laptop. While a monitor would be cheaper, without a tuner, it loses part of its functionality, since I don't have a digital converter box in my room.

EDIT: I ended up getting some sweet stuff! From my parents, I got an awesome Microsoft Comfort keyboard and a pretty blue Microsoft Netbook mouse that I've had my eye on for a while, and $150! They also covered $20 of the cost of purchasing my PSP, and we also went out to dinner, plus my Dad still owes me a skiing trip. My sister gave me a copy of "Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters" for the PSP, and my Grandparents gave me a Presidential stamp collection and a subscription to "Popular Science."

Overall, today was pretty sweet! Now I just have to get used to typing on a real keyboard again, and a curved one at that...
