(PSP) L button stopped working

My L button stopped working. It make good connection to the pcb, but whenever i press the contacts, it doent work. any idea's?

Mind explaining better? Might be because your case isn't tight enough, my L button gets stuck sometimes because of that. I have yet to find a solution, doesn't seem to want to tighten anymore....

Try taking the actual rubber contact under the L button and see if there's any wear and tear blocking the connection.

You can't really make a membrane, he would have to replace it with another one. Membranes are not entirely rubber, if they were then they wouldn't be conductive and unable to complete the circuit. But you got the right idea, just try another membrane.

the membrane is rubber, but it has a metal plate on it. Check one out.

Well yeah that part is rubber, but the part under it conductive, I didn't know it was made out of metal.

sounds like its been over tightened and your faceplate screw hole is broken. Replacing your faceplate should solve your problem. It could also be that everything wasn't put back just right and something is keeping it from coming together fully, but that would also probably lead to stripping the threads or breaking the little threaded stalk completely.
