If you pronounce it "own", you may as well just say it. I do not say "pwn" unless I am clearly being a super-nerdy-overthetop gamer, and when I do, I will say it in the proper wrong way.

Also, there are several possible origins of the word. Just 'cuz a guy with a website that has "pwn" in the name, does not make him an expert on the word.

Also, Adam Sessler, host of X-Play, pronounces it as "Pone". Him, plus the ultimate powers of Blizzard entertainment and South Park, establish it as the canon form, IMO.

The problem is we have a tiny school, ther are 20 kids in the junior high we have to include him or the teachers take us into the counseling room and give us a big lecture on how he's going to kill himself seriously.

Take my advice...

Find out what he doesn't really like and turn into a raving maniac. Like AVGN, start saying non sequitur things when he gets too close and rant about the dumbest most irritating things. Eventually he will freak out and walk away. Of course, you may not become exactly mr popular... Just the weird kid making super mario sounds in the corner that everyone avoids. Worked wonders for me. The people that "get it" will find you entertaining....

your does not always mean you're. If you ever try to say "your an idiot" it's like shining a laser pointer in somone's eyes... only to find out that that someone is your reflection in a mirror. EDIT: How about a birthday sticky? Like the YouTube one? Then it's just one thread to ignore instead of multiple threads. People can still post, but those of us who don't care aren't overwhelmed by it.
