Logitech Cordless Xbox Controller (D-Pad Mod?)

Does anyone know a mod for improving the extremely loose D-Pad on the Logitech Cordless Xbox Controller (see below)? It shifts around so much and makes for a very poor emulation experience :? . Any help is greatly appreciated!

search RDC and his 360 controller with the NES d-pad.
