Lately there haven't been enough orders to justify the trouble of having them made, packing, shipping etc. Especially since I don't make much at all on them in order to keep the price as low as possible. One little problem (like not having enough decals and having to run and get some) and boom, I'm in the hole for the kit.
People could order this stuff still from the place I have them made, I just would be out of the loop (and you'd be at their mercy for shipping/etc)
Let me know how you feel about this, or if the pre-fab kits are even necessary. I'll still fill orders that come in for now, but this may change. Thanks!
Kit ordering... may be discontinued

Perhaps you could get someone else to make them and invest some of their capital into it? I feel it's a perfect way to help people get into portablizing who don't have enough cash to rent their own CNC router. I'm sure if you were to get an equally qualified person to buy some bulk plastic you could significantly lower the price and make the prefabs more attractive to those that want it.
Or, perhaps, look into cast molds with a plastic company? I know there are a lot of companies that cater to electronic casing and can make hundreds on the cheap.

hey ben
Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar. You're gonna go far, fly high,
You're never gonna die, you're gonna make it if you try;they're gonna love you.

I currently don't have the money to buy the kits and am having trouble finding time to build a portable right now. If you take down the kits, bring them back when summer begins at least.
