Retro Duo Questions!
I have recently acquired a Retro Duo and I have a few questions about it.
If I want to power the Retro Duo off of a PSone Screen, where on the retro duo board would I connect Ground and 5v? I Have an older Retro Duo with the mysterious spot for a 7805, can I put it there?? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using just the SNES portion? If so, I'm pretty sure I put a big picture of that in the sticky.

I'm Planning to use both halves! I'm going to try to put it into a ZN-40 Case kinda like lovablechevy. In her project she used a switching regulator to power the Retro Duo instead of the 7805 on the screen. Also it doesnt say in the sticky how to power the whole Retro Duo.

Madhacker's right - if I remember correctly the power adapter itself is just 5v, so you could probably use a 7805 between your battery and the system and wire it to where the original power jack was.

I desoldered The power jack on the retro duo and there were three prongs. So which one if 5v and which one is ground.

Re: Retro Duo Questions!
Use a multimeter to check against a grounding strip on the board - whichever "beeps" is therefore ground so the other is the power!

Re: Retro Duo Questions!
You could look at the power adapter - there is usually a symbol which indicates what polarity the plug is.
