I wouldnt say that, ever measured the output voltage of those adapters that the SJ3 comes with? Yeah, its like 14v and rated for 9v :lol:

So yes you could. BUT, I believe that there is voltage regulation somewhere on the board, so be careful. i.e. dont blame me if you fry it :lol:

You could use a switching regulator too, they are much more efficient than a 7805.
