Yeah, $800 isn't cheap by any means, especially considering you have to upgrade stuff yearly if you want to play the most recent games.

Just turn the graphics down; that's what they do to make them run on the consoles. And you can set custom buttons.

How so? I'm just stating my feelings on the whole "PC VS Console" thing and why I can't see advantages to PC gaming over console gaming. I'm not trying to flame, and I'm not trying to make people mad; I'm just stating my opinion, and I don't think I did so in a particularly inflammatory way.

You forgot that a PC can do much more then a console.

Thats just a small list of what I do with my PC besides gaming. A $399 computer isn't going to do any of those fast (well maybe email and internet).

So it is much cheaper for me to just buy a better graphics card then to buy a PS3. Hell I am still running a 7900GT (3 years old?) and it plays all modern games at higher settings then a PS3 and Xbox 360. Hell most games on the PS3 and 360 only run at 720p which is ultra lame. Thus to me PC gaming IS much cheaper

If you're buying a new PC, anyways, and you'd like to play games, then $800 isn't too bad of a price. I'm talking primarily about people that will spend upwards of $800-1000 on a PC exclusively for gaming; that's why I said it wasn't cheaper.

Because lunch meat is nasty, thin, cold meat that isn't fit to even flush down the toilet. You have to have chunks of warm meat in a sandwich, then you can easily arrange them on bread and it doesn't taste like theres cat sick between the slices of bread. I end up settling for PB&J most of the time.

I hate how the music and film industry seem to think they have a God given right to make their own laws pass through governments and make everyone in the world who are law abiding, technically criminals due to over over zealous rules on copyright infringement and definition of "piracy" and false claims about loss of profits, etc (they gain more profit year on year after all). They charge silly prices for music, films and software, then impose "rules", eg DRM, for what you can and can't do with it for your own use and purpose. What they fail to see is that if you are technically breaching copyright anyway (even humming a tune, BTW), you may as well go the whole hog and do what you want to anyway, as it makes no difference.

Auto Companies getting bailouts. Chrysler just asked for an additional $5 billion. Well they can go to hell. Besides the new line up of Jeeps, Chrysler has not produced a single god dam car that people want to buy. Sure we loose jobs but guess what? We get rid of the Union Commie Bastards as well! Win-Win in my book. Ford still has not asked for any money yet. GO FORD!

Government SHOULD NOT give money out to companies no matter what. Sure people lose there jobs but thats the only way people will learn what a screw up there company is.

I hate it when people refer to the PS1 and/or the PSone as a "PSX".

It's NOT a PSX.

A PSX was a special PS2 with a built in HDD and DVR capabilities Sony released back in 2003.
It was pretty dang cool, and was the first Sony device to use the XMB.

The original gray brick of a console was a PS1.
The redesigned tiny white console is a PSone.

PSX == DVR that plays PS2 Games.
PSX != (PS1 | PSone)
