Help Needed...
hey gamers, i'm not exactly new to the forums, however, this is my first thread i've posted. To keep it brief and simple: what project should i start with?
Many of you have probably heard this question before, but i have a certain position. I'm not exactly pouring out money, but i do have enough for maybe one project and i was hoping to sell it when i finish so i would have the money for another project. i was pretty sure that my first project would be a NES portable but then i found out that a company already made that and its mass produced. so.. i couldn't really be able to sell a portable NES with a way cheaper one out on the market. so i really couldn't be able to make a portable NES.
all heil Nintendo!

If you're in it for the money, and you're just starting, you're out of luck. Find a cheaper hobby. Electronics are expensive and easy to break.

Re: Help Needed...
he said he wanted to sell it to fund his next project, so its not like he just wants to profit and spend it on hookers and booze. he's looking to use money from his first portable to fund his second portable.Kurt_ wrote:If you're in it for the money, and you're just starting, you're out of luck. Firstly Machuca - welcome to the forum.
Forget about making a portable to sell to make profit, unless you can make something special. Concentrate on making a system you would like to play, and take it from there.

don't mind them, they just misunderstood what you're looking to do. Make your NES portable, take lots of pictures, sell it if you can bring yourself to do so, and then start on your next project.Machuca wrote:yeah... i'm not in it for the money at all. Re: Help Needed...
Hmmm...must be a pot shortage where you are. Up here it's $5/gram. $25 will get you 2.5 pills of ecstacy, or a gram of cocaine I believe.
As far as saffron, it's expensive because you only get so many flowers per year, and you pluck a tiny part out of each flower. You'd need a hell of a lot of plants.

in general depending on the quality of your work your going to probably about break even or lose money before you make any. especially if your trying to sell it to people on this forum (just ask shockslayer) if you do a good job you might do better than break even but its really hit or missMany of you have probably heard this question before, but i have a certain position.
