zenith lcd= pson screen?

now I've checked through the fourms and as far as I can tell I'm correct... but the ZZenith lcd screen that is made for PS2/XBOX/Gamecube can be used instead of a PSOne screen right? I think I read somewhere that inside they're are basically the same screen, is this true? If so that means I can then just use the same info on the favorite PSOne screen. I hope I'm right, but I thought I would ask. Thanks for any help.
