A few questions

1. My ps2 slim does not have an external adapter like Ben described with his model. Instead of the yellow plug, it has the same power out as the original bulky ps2. Will this make portablizing it harder?

2. I plan on using seven of these in a series:

How would I go about charging these all at once/what charger should I buy?

Can you post a picture? Maybe like a snapshot of the back of your PS2 Slim. I'm trying to understand how they could fit the power supply inside a Slim PS2.....

From my understanding the board can only take on 8.5v and not much more, if your dealing with NTSC outlets thats 110-120v and PAL your dealing with 220-240v (I lives in america myself so correct me if i'm wrong). Unless they found a way to compress the adapter within the confines of that PS2 Slim....

Yeah its between 220v-240v in the PAL region.

Hrm thats interesting, not sure how easy it will be to portablize until i see a pic of the inside. It might be easy to remove the power supply out of the unit so you can have your battery straight out power the mobo, or it might be delicately integrated making it very difficult or impossible to portablize without a sufficient power source.

Unless you wanna make a PS2 laptop, that runs pretty much like Ben's Laptops through a wall socket and no battery.

Awesome, ya that is probably doable. I believe you can make a portable with that PS2 Slim because the power supply detaches from the main mobo. Just gotta find your input voltage and your set. I only say that because i've discovered all consoles that have upgrades (like saying mark 1 or mark 2) tend to always have different input voltages, i mean look at the Xbox 360s, there is so many different power supplies for them.....
