Circuit City closing sales - what deals did YOU get?
As everyone knows, Circuit City is closing all its stores. They are selling off everything at reduced prices.
I bought:
Wii - wired internet adapter for $12
Wii - Rock Band 2 for $35
PSP - SOCOM Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 for $14
Xbox - Cold Fear for, dunno, $5 or so
What deals did YOU get?

Nothing.
The store around here marked everything up higher than Best Buy.

Same here.bicostp wrote:Nothing.

Games that were $50 are now $47.
Whereas I could go to any of the dozen or so other stores having 15% off sales and make up the cost of the gas to get there!

I got a copy of "Burnout Paradise" for the PS3 for a grand total of $16.10. 25% off of their price of $19.99, and 50% off of the standard store price of $29.99.
That's the only real deal I've seen there, sadly.

PS3 - $360 instead of the usual $400 (If I had waited a couple more weeks it would have been $320... Oh well.)
Mercenaries 2 - $24 instead of $40 (They misstakenly gave me 40% off. Nice!)
Fable 2 - $48 instead of $60
Resistance 2 - $54 instead of $60 (Not much of a deal, but what the hell.)
There Will Be Blood Blu-ray - $24 instead of $35 (Not the most amazing price, but it was worth it. Amazing movie.)
The Prestige Blu-ray - $21 instead of $30 (I'd been wanting this for a long time. Figured why not.)

I loved "There Will Be Blood." If my parents ever update our TV, I'm gonna hassle them to get a Blu-Ray disc player and make sure that movie will be one of the discs we get.

Shoplifting is deplorable, there is no excuse for blatant theft. It is not cool or justifiable.cennar wrote:i shop lifted a palm pilot
