Being Canadian, I shamefully admit I say "zee" as well. It's easier to say, and the alphabet song rhymes that way.

Has anyone else noticed about a third of the alphabet rhymes?

It's an accepted pronunciation, as far as I know. It's how everybody in the US says it. Almost like aluminum.

Haha, almost everywhere else in the world they "officially" pronounce it "Zed". Canada is one of those countries, but I say "Zee".
