N64 mod . . . possiblility

Ok, I know, that since I don't know much about this since I haven't tried anything here. SO bare with me:

Ok, recently I've been looking into buying a laptop mother board and building my own laptop. Things is I dont know much about laptop and what I would need to get to make a decent gaming one. It just came to me, since the company who makes the ghip set for the N64 is still arnd, would it be posible to upgrade the N64's chipset?

How would that be useful? N64 games run perfectly on the existing GFX chipset, how would a better one help?

well it may open up new options. I'm just thinking, and supplying people; maybe someone will get an idea and run with it.

Well, in a word, no, it's not possible to upgrade the N64 chip. It's soldered directly to the board, for one,
and are extremely fine-pitch chips. Nevermind the fact that they are proprietary chips, meaning that you
can't just take a chip off and replace it with something else.

Furthermore, if you're wanting to buy a laptop motherboard and make your own laptop case, then
for what purpose would you need an N64 graphics chipset?

If you want a decent gaming laptop, the price of parts makes it almost nonsensical, unless you REALLY
want a custom case. You can get a decent laptop from Best Buy (*cough*) for between 400 and 500 bucks.

Difficult to know which the bot is as many people here can't spell properly and don't always make sense!
