Batteries question

So i have been studying up on all this battery stuff like mAH and volts and such and i was wondering what would be the best battery to use to power a n64p?

i wanted to use Li-Ion, so i was going to just use a portable dvd player, but buying a whole portable dvd player for 60$ for just the battery seems really wasteful

i already have a pth08080 and a pth08000 so i can regulate the voltage but im not sure which ones are the best....

but since they are li-ion i guess i have to have a CMB?

im trying to get at least 1.5-2 hours of gameplay and it really doesn't matter what shape the batteries are in either.

[edit] i just looked up li-po batteries and it seems they are more powerful AND they are less expensive, should i use thoes instead?

You can either get the CMB to use a DC power supply, or you can buy a protection circuit and a smart charger.

Its all good, it took me a good month or so understand how these things worked.
