Okay I didn't want to reveal this because for some reason portables I reveal on the internet have a tendency to not ever happen.
I need some help, I've done a cartridge slot relocation and now all that happens when I turn on the snes is the general flicker that says the thing is on.
I used some kind of long wires for the relocation, could that be the problem? The wires are about 8 inches long.
Thanks in advanced.

Re:
your wires may not be thick enough or deliver enough current. try some solid wire, or just use a multimeter to test if there is any resistance; that will screw you up.

Re: Cartridge slot relocation tips?
Are the wires from old computer HD ribbon cabel? I have had the wires break inside the rubber insilation before. That is why when I relocate the cart slot on my retro duo, I will be using nice, sturdy wires from an old ps1 A/V cord.
rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio! \m/

Ya if that ribbon cable looks yellowed then you need some new stuff.
