Re: Uberman/Everyman Sleep Schedule
During the summer months, I go for the 28 hour day schedule.
Wonderful until August comes around

Re: Uberman/Everyman Sleep Schedule
Seems interesting, but not necessarily applicable due to society's schedule. You'd have to format your life pretty damn specifically to be able to maintain such a sleeping experience. Regardless, over the span of infinity years, the average woman/man has discovered that an 8-hour night of sleep is beneficial, simple as that.
I would consider trying such a schedule during summer (provided you don't have a SOCIAL LIFE
). Doing so any other time would easily have you fall far behind.

...What Skyone said!
All kidding aside, I heard of this somewhere around last September. Seemed interesting at first until I read somewhere that this can be damaging to your health.
Just stick with the caffeine nap! Drink a cup of coffee, take a half hour nap. When you wake up the caffeine will be kicking in, and you supposedly feel as refreshed as a full nights sleep.
Or you could drink Health or Mana Energy Potions

Re: Uberman/Everyman Sleep Schedule
My normal sleep schedule is usually 11am to 3 am awake then sleep from 3am to 11am. so its a pretty standard monophasic (8 asleep 16 awake) sleep schedual just offset about 4-5 hours
i can usually push myself to 18-19 hours awake time and still function fairly normally on the sleep i can get from that (5-6 hours)

Re: Uberman/Everyman Sleep Schedule
My dad works for himself and did the polyphasic sleep for two months. He trained himself to go to sleep every 2 hours for about 15 minutes, and he could keep going for 24 hours end on end.
The crazy thing is that he functioned better than when he tries to sleep normally. Eventually though he got sick of having to rearrange social interactions to be able to sleep.

Re: Uberman/Everyman Sleep Schedule
This would never work, because you probably have either a job, school, college, university, or something else. Although a lot of people take 20-30 minute naps anyway
.
If you don't have anything to do, just sleep in. That usually works.

the thing is it DOES work! you just have to get your work schedule and sleep schedule to work together that is the hard partThis would never work, because you probably have either a job, school, college, university, or something else.
