Hey guys. My friend just gave me a PS3 Controller for free, but theres something wrong with the analog sticks.
Essentially, the analog sticks never re-center to the middle. Like, if I move them left, they stay there even without me touching them. Same thing happens if I move them in any other direction.
Whats the problem, and how do I fix this?

Probably busted springs or busted pieces that hold the springs. Either way you need new sticks.

Just solder in some new pots, should be easy for you.

Excellent

You could open the controller and glue on little pieces of rubber band in all 4 directions.
