I'm currently trying to frontlight my GBC with the led from my busted SP, I even snapped the flex ocb, had to resoder a wire onto the very small points (tiny solderinng for the first time), can get the thing on when hooked up to a battery, but I can't find out where to hook up the positive end on the gbc, after reading bibin's guide on lighting up a gba, I have ground hooked up the the minus end of the battery terminals, but I can't find a vcc..help?
Edit: I found out how to put the difuser without ruining the screw posts, I had the GBc on so I can keep the led on so I can hotglue the two together ad make sure light was passing through it, and all of a sudden the thing died. I didn't pump any extra voltage or anything. Nothing is burnt, I can't smell anything, what could be wrong with it? Is there a fuse I can jump or something?

nvm. found a vcc, now my problem is difusssing the led, becuase the diffuser is to long without moddifying the gbc, which I won't becasue then I have no screw posts...

Use an exacto to score the diffuser, then snap off the extra. 
Or, use hot glue instead of screws.

I have that problem done, now I need to make my GBC work gain, it stopped working for no reason whatsoever, and I can't even blame static electricity becuase if anything the led, which I was holding would of died, not the whole gbc, and the led still works....palmertech wrote:Use an exacto to score the diffuser, then snap off the extra.

Stop, stop, stop. Find the VDD pin on the lower-left daughterboard, and follow it to the back. Solder to there with a resistor of your choice (experiment to find a good brightness). If it's drawing too much power, the GBC just shuts off.

where is the fuse? Yes I know I'm not very bright at this part right now, hell it took me around an hour or long just to find vcc...Bibin wrote:You may have blown the fuse.
