Update my status here in Western Kentucky

Post by nightwheel »

I'm not home at the moment. I'm in a Public Library in tennnesse. Power has been out at my house for over 48 hours. And it may be out for another 24 hours or more. And last night it dippped down into the high 30's last night in the house. And our water is working but until further notice, The water is undrinkable. Our power problems is mostly for now has to to with TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority).

But I'm ok guys so don't worry about me!!

Some slight good news, When my power and cable internet comes up at home. I got a boat load of video and audio recordings of this storm ready to hit youtube. So you guys can see and hear what I saw here in kentucky

See you guys. I may be back here at this Library tomarrow. One way or the other see ya later!

You speak as though the high 30s is cold! lol. I'm guessing 30s is probably pretty cold for KY. A hit of high 30s temp up here right now would be a heat wave for us, and I'd be out in shorts, lol.

There is one advantage to the cold temp though, if you store the food ifrom your fridge outside, it won't go bad before the power goes back on! :D

But wow, that must have been one heck of a storm if you've been out of power for 2 days now, with no power for at least a day on the horizon!

I look foward to your youtube links to the storm damages 8)

Well, I think that high 30's is low inside just about anywhere.

Glad you're ok, nightwheel. Good luck with getting all your stuff back in order and power back soon!

Well I got power sorta. Since a family friend got power and internet today. Me and my sis is at their house. I got the videos partly ready for youtube. But my 3 audio recording I did on my MP3 player while my camera was dead for the first time. Unfortanly got left in another county and found in the snow here in Kentucky. So..... I'll upload the videos I that I did before the camera died the first time. Then after I get my MP3 player back. I'll upload the remainder of the videos. Including the audio only ones.

Ok I have power and cable tv at my house, but no internet. But that doesn't matter tonight really. I'm still at my firends house tonight. Since I stayed to watched the Super Bowl on their 60in Sony 1080p HDTV 8)

Anyways, I have set up a playlist on my youtube that I will use for my storm related videos. There is only the one video right now. I also got another one uploading right now. And the rest of the videos I got to edit them on my computer at home, then upload them. Here is the link for the playlist for those interested: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p ... 63E035336A

30 degrees? That's Fahrenheit right? I don't know what you're complaining about... that's only 0 in celsius...

Back where I live, it was -35 degrees celsius.
