Ben's Portable TV hacks

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Ben's Portable TV hacks

Post by segasonicfan »

Hey guys,
I was wondering if Ben left up any info on his portable TV hacks. I'm looking for instructions on his hack to put in white LEDs (into a portable TV, not the PSone mod) and how to take shrink the TV to use it for ONLY video (and get rid of as many other components as possible). Even if the info is only for his Casio EV-660 thats fine, I have that exact TV. Any help is appreciated! Thanks :)

I don't see anything :/ Also, with the LED mod, I don't know how I'd be able to control the brightness... :(

Scroll down to wiring the screen.

The brightness of the screen is controlled by a protometer. It will aloue you to ajust how much power is sent to the LEDs (like the backlight).
