Well, I've recorded a demo for a new song. I need some feed back. All of its done by me, on one acoustic guitar. (Multiple tracks though) Any ideas and constructive criticism are wanted. Don't hold back!

I liked pure volume until i found it only lets you hold 4 songs for free.

PS - The 90s were last decade. You'd fit right in.

Thanks. My acoustic is an old Signet one. My electric is a Mexi Fender Strat Standard. I also have a Squier Strat Special II, which has a single humbucker in it.(for $50, it was a steal)

On the note of guitars: I don't like yours.

I don't know why (yes I do), but recently I've gained a dislike for fender guitars, and Stratocasters as a whole. You can hear the cheap. Sure, that's why they've famous. A good guitar with some cheap parts makes for an excellent beginner to mid-level guitar. But I can really hear the cheap. The lack of good intonation, the slightly-out-of-tune strings...

If ever get another guitar, it will be a high-quality professional one.

That being said, my family has 8 guitars. Two of which are fenders (stratocaster, and a telecaster on permanent loan), and another two being fender stratocaster clones. And one being a fender bass. (The others: Two acoustics, 6 and 12 string; and some $600 les paul clone. A Quality sound, but I don't like it.)

Fenders are nice for playing, but I wouldn't use them for recording anything except "messy" music. But I'm stuck with them

Well then I'd have to say, you've played some crappy fenders. The intonation is my fault on all my songs. I've yet to change it on my Mexi. Out of tune, probably my fault too since I forget to tune em before I record. Honestly, I could care less if I was playing the cheapest guitar EVER, I wouldn't really care. As long as I'm playing.

Don't forget: It doesn't matter how good of a guitar you have, if you play bad, it won't make you better.
