I'd say Lincoln is more the luxury version. Mercury falls in between the two. Kind of like what Chrysler did with their cars: they had their basic, cheap version (Dodge), the not-as-cheap but more luxurious Plymouth, and then the high-end Chrysler version.

I'm a huge Sega fan, but saying it was Sony that did them in is just not true. Sega killed themselves slowly. Personally, I'd hate it if Sony went under. The PS3 was my gaming savior this generation, and if that went away, I'd be stuck with either the Wii (which I have and can't stand for a number of reasons) or the Xbox 360 (probably an awesome system, but it doesn't really have any games that appeal to me).

Its not like Sony makes too many in-house games. If they didn't buy the rights to those games, they'd migrate over to the 360.

Get with the times, man! According to Wikipedia, they were discontinued in 2002.

Only reason I care about the big three is the jobs they provide. There aren't really any new cars that interest me, I could buy an old car and keep fixing it up for years before it would equal the price of a new car. Except the Aptera, that thing looks pretty sweet (just for a commuter, though).

ah, I see. I'm not a big "new car" person. I find that used cars are a much better value. my 1999 sable has been running strong since I bought it. Broke the 100,000 mile marker and still running smooth. No Check Engine light or anything else significantly wrong with it.

They make awesome computers, but they've been laying off a ton of people lately, including three of my friends.

I live right next to the plant, with an AMD and Intel building (go figure) right next to it.
If any of these computer went under, Ft. Collins would be back to dirt roads and poverty. Sad, but true.

exceptions being (in the USA anyway) the lexus SC300/400(toyota soarer in japan) GS400(toyota aristo in japan) and LS400(Toyota Celsior in japan) dont have the US counterparts, the lexus ES is a fancy camry

1. Google - Unrealistic, I know, but I'd be truly be pissed when they go under (taking Youtube and GMail with them).

Apple/Microsoft- I like both, would would hate to see either go, taking my music, and OS'.

Sony-Love their audio/visual products. Don't mind Playstation either.
