I heard that that one doesn't work. Stick with the official one, comes with everything you need, screen, speakers, headphone jack, powerjack, everything.

Yeah it sounds like, composite and analog audio are the red white and yellow inputs, but make sure that they are inputs because it may be an output.

another question could i hook up my system and my portable dvd player screen to one battery?because i am going to use a phono coupler to hook up the system to the screen for video and sound, but i want to have the screen and system to use one battery because the dvd player screen can only work when hooked up to its battery.if someone has done this can i see pics or something so i know exactly how to do this?
PS.the battery is 7.4v and 4400mah.
and this is the phono coupler : http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... Id=2102694
and also i saw somewhere that you can use this coupler for a game console to show up on the portable dvd player screen.

yes, you can use one battery for both. just hook it up to both. put the power switch on the + line before you split the wire.
Cheers,

Regarding Soldering gun: HELL NO! You'll melt whatever you are trying to solder!
You want around a 40 watt soldering IRON (not gun) and perhaps a 15 watt pencil iron
You'll also want a desoldering iron if you want to make the 64 smaller, and you definitely want to. you don't need a gamebit, but you might want it if you want to keep the original case in tact. Also, you might want a dremel. They're awesome.
