Yep I got a new PC. I got the computer from Office Max. My old Compaq has been acting up for a few months now. And now I have a new HP Pavilion a6700f desktop PC with a Quad-Core. I didn't get a new screen though. So I'm still using my 17in HP LCD that came with my Compaq. But I don't mind though. This screen still works great!
And this computer this running great too! It run's very fast. Even faster than my old Compaq ran when I first go it on Christmas in 06.
Also, After I take out my secondary hard drive out of my old PC and put it this PC. I'll try my hand at trying to install Windows 7 again.
Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality?
Just as a warning, if you want to put a good graphics card in that computer, you might have to buy a new power supply. 300 watts isn't enough for real cards like the GTX 200 and HD 4000 series. They usually recommend a 450 watt at minimum. Is there a sticker on the PSU that lists the number of amps per rail? (Generally that's the thing to look for.)
EDIT: $550 for that? Wow. Building your own would have gotten more for your money, but that's still decent.

We got it actually got for $449 and the regular price at Office Max was $559.99 (basically $560). And this computer was a Christmas Gift. And they had a price range up $500 to spend on computers.

Hey, when I put my secondary hard drive in this new computer. I used packaging tape to hold it in place
In my defense: I'm slightly lazy. And I didn't feel like fooling around with hard drive caddy. I also didn't have the screws to hold the HDD in place anyways.

Newer Intel fans are actually really good at keeping the CPU cool. My Case never goes above 40 Degrees Celsius under load and my CPU never goes above 55 Degrees Celsius under load.
That may sound hot, but it really isn't. I can't complain, first build ever. It didn't catch on fire (yet), so I did something right.

My Phenom X3 8450 OCed from 2.1Ghz to 2.5Ghz, Under 100% load only gets to like 60c, and that is after running for a good half hour at 100% load. And this is using the Stock AMD Heatsink and stock thermal grease.
And temps inside the case are barely over Room temp.

That's pretty good for the cash, then.
My Oced 8450 Triple core wipes the floor with that Quad.
