Post by beeps8 »

Hi guys,
I was wonder if anybody knows the best way to make a reset button for the dreamcast?
Any and all help would be appreciated.

i dont know why you would need one but you could just throw a simple switch into the circuit the power switch is on

Pressing A+B+X+Y+Start simultaneously twice essentially does the same thing.

Otherwise, why not just turn the power on and off? You only have to press the button once more.

EDIT: Whoops, A+B+C+Start is for the Saturn.

Connect the round solder pad next to the white text that label a IC as "IC206" top a switch that connet it to the ground when pressed. It's a round point of solder.

This will reset the Dreamcast when the button is pressed!

I tested it and it works fine.

Wire a momentary NC switch inline with the power. That should work.
