It won't boot, but this is due to the hardware check not working with the LCD. I bought a new LCD but after opening the little bastard up decided it's not worth the trouble to install, as I'm not sure how I'd go about it. The person who had this before told me that it worked when the LCD was swapped from another iPhone, so you go figure.
