Hello, i am going to do a Snesp, but i need help because i am new on this, i am looking on ebay for the materials.
I need to know if a retro duo works just as good as a Snes, because is cheaper and i don't have too much money to spend, i also want to know if i can use the lcd screen from my RCA lcd color television, the tv comes with ear phone option and with a speaker.
I really need help.

Ok, but is there a big chance that the duo would stop working?, because is cheaper, but i've seen a mini snes for o,99 cents, the problem is that wont turn on but the seller said that maybe it could be fixed, also, is it the same to use a normal snes than a mini?
The mini Snes is a great way to start, since it has an actual step by step tutorial (Ben's Book). Chances are though if you are having a hard time even buying the console to mod, there will be a lot of financial snags along the way, since this is a rather expensive hobby, and there is always 100 little things you don't think you need. About the mini TV for the screen, if you posted some pics and/or said the model number, you would get a more definitive answer about it working for this project. There is also a thread in the Screen hacking section that has screens that will/will not work. I wish you the best of luck!
