Startropics 1 & 2 FC Mobile question

Hello all

My FC mobile just arrived today, and I was real excited to play my two favorite nostaligic games Startropics 1 & 2. However, both games seem to share the same graphical glitch, with a little bit of the bottom of the screen being screwy and showing whats on the very top. Its still playable like this, however its annoying and not what I expected

To make things even weirder, when I use the TV cables they both work fine. The other games I have tested work perfect as well, so im not sure if its my carts, or if its just an incompatibility with the system.

Anyone able to confirm something?

Not so sure what we need to confirm, I doubt there is a way to fix it, I dont think the FC mobile has 100% compatibility, but I don't know snes too well.

Also, this thread would have been better posted in the snes section.

I would like someone to confirm if it the system compatibility, or something wrong with my system/carts. Also, the FC Mobile is a portable NES player, not SNES ( I wish there was an SNES mobile I could buy..)

I don't own either Star Tropics, but the FC Mobile is fairly rotten. I had a lot of glitches with mine. Sounds like the issue is your screen, though. If it's working perfectly on the TV, the actual device is working fine.

I might have a spare screen that I'd let go for the price of shipping. I'll take a look for it.

Maybe..im new to the modding scene, but considering every other game I have tried works just fine..Im guessing its a glitch that ironically effects both games in the series.

*shrug* Whatever. If it's working fine on the TV, the error's obviously somewhere in the screen. Again, though, that's the FC Mobile. That's why I got rid of mine. Too glitchy.

Maybe it was a mistake..at the least I have an NES that works perfect to hook up to the TV! Im going to contact the company I bought it from to see how there return policy works. They claim they will replace malfunction products, but if its one of those You pay for shipping, and a restocking, and shipping again, then forget that..
