SNES Controller Questions

Post by mmoshkowich »

Hey I was just browsing around when I found Kyo's Joystick hack for replacing D-pads. I really wanna try it but I dont know where ground is on this controller.

Can somebody tell me where ground is?

also two other Questions!

When you conect the Joystick potentiometers pins like Up, down, left, right do you connect it two the gold part shown in the pics?

Whats an easy way to find ground without a multimeter?

Do you see traces that connect between each button? That's ground. The other side of the buttons' traces are what you connect the signal to for the different directions.
