Possible cpu problems

So I just installed my pc in a new case hooked everything up and all i got was a loud squeal, and I'm positive it was not a fan. Also I just got a new psu in the mail today and installed it, now when I turn on the pc I just get beeping noises that I am assuming are from the bios. Also if I unplug the cpu I get no beeps, and when it is plugged in and beeps the fan on the cpu stops running

Any ideas?

Maybe you need a PSU that provides more amps?

His new PSU has plenty of power, trust me.

Maybe your PSU is bad or it's time for a new motherboard...
