Best place to buy games for systems no longer in production?

Just wondering, I'm not talking about ebay or amazon. Is there a place thats not on the internet that sell old console games like N64 or PS or Dreamcast?

Goodwill/Salvation Army/Savers definitely. Thrift stores are your best friends.

You could try Game Crazy (which is the video game part of Hollywood Video) but IIRC they started to get rid of old video game stock, but I could be wrong.

All the thrift store by me suck. Pawn shops are a good place to check- after a few visits you will know who carries games and who doesn't.

I can assume you may include online sites like egameaddiction.com for your wanton desires. There was a few ebayers whose that actually have a physical store and ebay there excess stock. Software Seconds (sofsec2000) I think was one.

The only problem is there may not be too many stores like this around you anymore. Most of the small ma and pa stores and teeny franchises were bought up by EB and Gamestop when they were two different competing entities.

Thanks for the info but another great place is asking your friends. I asked a couple of them today and they all still have N64's and games and since they don't play them they'll give some to me. Gotta love old systems

bigger the better. more likly to have lax theft polices (better off stealing from one owned by a hartless larger parent company than a salvation army those guys actualy give clothing away not just take donations and sell them too third world buyers like walmart and valuevillage. those guys we should be stealing from right copulate ing now.) pawn shops will mark things up past there worth. but if your there enough not buying maby just a seller. you get some cut because you show by selling that they have to high a price, essentially making them a buyer losing money till there stocked up. which is great for business.

Here's another, unexpected source of stuff- other people. For me that would be the guys (and gals) at school, but it could be at university or work. Also look through Craigslist and the classifieds. Garage sale season is coming up, so be sure to go. Go early, before all the vendors get there.

This is definitely true. I've managed to get games and stuff pretty cheap from people at school.
