the most simple q ever...
Does a message display when a 64 turns on with out a game in it?(trying to fix one...)

The screen will flash because i got a little bit of current from the anolog cable, but you'll just get a black screen afterwards.
Get a game, because if it flashes that doesn't necessarily mean it works
