Are there any games that use the d pad and l button?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Are there any games that use the d pad and l button?

Post by thewise1 »

I don't remember ever using the d pad or l button in any game I had, and it would be really convenient to leave them off, but I would like to make my n64 p compatible with all n64 games.

Should I leave them on?

Only leave them on if these are games you're not interested in playing.

You kinda have to be a fanboy to really miss it.

also, tetrisphere
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Mario Party 1, 2, 3
Doom 64

So in other words, given the titles already mentioned, not having the L shoulder button and d-pad would miss out on some of the very best titles on the N64...

Yes it is!

Points my friend, points!
You're final score is what matters in Story Mode!

Taunting at the end of a fight, (being caught in the middle of a taunt when the fight ends) gets you more points!
I forget what it's called though...

Own't. Although I do make a habit of taunting at computers who don't care for 100 points. Woo. Considering that points don't mean crap.

I feel the need to point out that Super Man 64 uses the L button even though nobody cares.
