Is it safe to just cut that bottom part off? The thing thats just sticking out?
I just don't want to screw up the controls or anything.

Doesn't look like there's anything important on there, so why not? (Just add wires to reconnect the broken traces if you want that part to work again.)

Lolz It looks like the part for the, um, "Joy Stick" so I sont think I'll need. it. Oh and sorry about the icon. It would be easier to make it smaller with we could upload files from are hard drive.
