Why would I want to LED mod the psone screen?

Looking at Rekarp's new video, looks like the standard issue - bright corners where the LED's are. That would be annoying. Watched most of the video and my eyes kept going to the screen corners instead of the screen pics, which is a distraction, for me anyway. Logically, if the light source is on the corners, it will be brightest there than the center, which is the issue. Perhaps the LEDs behind an opaque backing plate would make a difference?

Actually in real life the corners arn't lit up. The camera is just much more sensitive to light then our eyes.

Yup - it really isn't even an issue. The camera exaggerates the effect

Which everyone has been telling bacteria! C'mon, at least try it. It's reversable (minus some cut corners)
