How do I get started?

Post by Criseck »

Hello, I´m newbie in all of this "making a non-portable consola into portable ;D" world, and my first question is... How do I get started?.

Yeah, I mean, ok, cool, maybe It was cool a NES portable and then?, forums?, some website?, nope, and in that momento I found... benheck.com, yeah...

And now I´m here, doing, per third time the question: How do I get started?, tutorials?, guides?, faqs?, I don´t know...

Help me, because I want to create a NES portable, or something like that, and I don´t know how I do it...

PD: sorry for my bad english.

buy Benhecks book. Amazon has it for about 20 shipped. I didn't know a thing about electronics, never held a soldering iron, never opened anything electronic before and I'm well on my way to finishing my portable. His book even has a step by step for an NES portable.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Im new here too but i use the search function. People are probably not keen to answer you as the information can easily be found. If you do a search there are literary thousands of topics on the information you are after. Also as mentioned the stickies are a great starting place.

By all means ask questions on things you cant find on search as im sure all the guys on here will be more than happy to help (they have helped me)

Anyway, im not having a go at you im just giving you some advice. asking a question like "NesP - Where do i start?" is not the best way to gleam information from people.
