Low Memory Usage XP Widgets

Post by ghosstt »

I'm looking for a program that has lots of cool widgets, but uses low memory (only running 512 ram). Any thoughts?

There are lots of clocks you can get for under $20. Analog and digital, a variety of styles, super-high resolution displays, some have built in music players, and best of all they don't take any system resources! :P

Seriously, what kind of things are you looking for? I know Yahoo has a free widget system, and it ran on my 900 mhz P3 machine no problem. (Except for fading and translucency, but that was because it basically has a Dorito for a video chipset.

Ya, I've used that before. I guess I don't really need one. Any ideas on an iTunes controller for the taskbar? (near the clock) I have one for FireFox(foxytunes) but when I'm not using FF, its kind of inconvenient for me to change songs.

Um isn't there a toolbar built into itunes? That you add to your taskbar?

I think that's only Windows Media Player.

No, iTunes does it too.

You activate it the same way. (Right-click taskbar -> Toolbars -> iTunes)
