Very nice looking! Is that an official ceramic white faceplate? I always thought the white looked nice with the black buttons. Do you mind if I ask how many bones it cost you?

I just received my XCM "Smooth as Silk" white faceplate today from Hong Kong.

I'll have to take some pictures later though. It has a nice flat white finish to avoid those pesky fingerprints, and it has a nice grippy/rubbery texture to it.

Here are the pictures... Not bad for $20 shipped from Hong Kong. I've got no complaints about quality. The only fitment issue is that it doesn't get down tight to the chassis; picture 3 shows how much of a non-issue this really is.

I would've, but I don't see why it matters.

Can you even read it anyways? The resolution is VERY high, but the picture was resized down. I can't even read it here at my work computer. On my 4-inches-bigger screen at home I might be able to...

Sony will find that and void my warranty maybe? HA!

If I was worried about keeping the warranty, I wouldn't be on this forum. It's a phat, I'm sure it has no warranty at this point anyway.

this WAS a topic for a simple, eye catching mod, why has it gotten so off topic? what on earth does slowmans serial number got to do with the thread?

leave the guy alone...

I am sorry for going off topic...

But still, for both of you, i do like what you have done.

Its an idea, that maybe i should put a piano black faceplate onto my ceramic while slim.... and see how that will look... ( but i dont think it will look very will... )
