why dont you just make it an overal compo with portables and mods?? with some catagories or something. I would be willing to donate like 5 bucks if I was allowed to enter my upcoming SNES Portable.

Is this compo dead or are people making projects for it? Just curious.

Ok, IT IS ON!!!

The rules are:

1. The contest starts RIGHT NOW.

2. The contest will end March 1, 2009 at 9:00 PM PST

3. You are eligible if your project is handheld, runs on electricity, and is customized in some way.

4. Multiple entires are allowed, but the number of votes you get is proportionate to their value. If you have one entry, a vote is worth 10 points, if you have two, they are worth 5, and so on.

5. The voting will be held portable-palooza style, with a polling thread with your first, second, and third choices.

6. Yor project must not be more than 20% completed as of this post (Honor system here, guys. ;) )

7. First prize is DSTT DS flashcart. If you guys want more prizes, donate any old stuff to the cause.

8. Please point out problems with these rules.

Hrm... I think that since I'm a bit cash strapped for a bit, but have most of the materials at the moment, I'll do a N64p.

Good luck to me, it'll be my first portable. :(

Bah, humbug!

Portable my arse! No batteries make it a handheld, but a portable it is not.

Changing rules: Must use electricity from an ONBOARD source (Solar panel, Car battery, whatever).

Editing now...

Sorry for being dense, but I don't understand - is the competition for making anything that is portable, or does it have to be a mod to something that was already portable?

If it's anything being made portable...I could enter my current projekt...it would lose miserably, but I could still enter it :P
