FS: Slot Loading 360

Post by RDC »

I'm selling the Slot Loading 360 I made up awhile back. It was more of a challenge for me than anything and I'm not going to be using it, hopefully someone will. ;)

It's up on eBay for anyone interested.

EDIT: Pic and a video in case anyone hasn't seen them yet.;)

Some idiot, don't know who yet, pulled it from eBay because of copyright infringement. The drive is completely stock in that aspect, no flashed FW at all. So either eBay has a complete retard that goes over those things or someone sent them an e-mail crying that it was modified when it's not, so they pulled a perfectly legal auction. I've already e-mailed them back and will have to see where this goes.

My apologies to anyone that bid on the thing and I'm working on getting this resolved or it'll just go back up for auction at a more respectable place that knows what they're doing.

Alright, it's back up again, 5 day listing this time so it can still hopefully make it in time to be a decent Christmas present for someone. ;)

Well since eBay is full of the biggest hypocrites in the world, rapid fire controllers abound but I can't post a perfectly stock running 360 without being called for copyright infringement, not to mention some of the absolute dumbest people around that can't tell the difference between a modchip and a slot loader, like to know exactly where they get off on thinking so, this thing is no longer on eBay (again) and nothing I have or make ever will be from now on, I'm taking it elsewhere, just no idea where yet.

Thanks to all that looked and my apologies to anyone that bid on it after hearing about it from here, but eBay has no clue and it's out of my hands. If you'd like to rant, comment or whatever on the subject the work log thread is HERE.

As well as if anyone has any serious offers I can be PM'd about it HERE. If it goes up on some other site I'll be sure to let everyone know.

That's really too bad about eBay, but let me say that your mod looks really good.

I'm setting a $450 price tag on this thing. It was at $400 with 4 days left before eGhey decided to shaft me, so $450 doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.

The specs of it are a Xenon motherboard (no HDMI) that has never 3RL or RRoD in the short time that I used it before it was boxed up. This was a backup 360 I had and just brought it out to do the Slot Loader on.

The drive was/is a Hitachi v59 with stock FW on it and it does not, nor did it ever, play backups.

It has the fan shroud divided, and intake/exhaust vents opened up for more airflow as well as the fans run at 8v.

It comes with the AV cables and PSU, but no HDD.

Thanks to all that have looked and voiced their opinions on it as well as the whole eBay thing, much appreciated.

New Years eve and the Slot Loader is $300 (console only) for the next 24 hours, after that it goes in a box on a shelf.

I wish I had $300, I would grab that up now. Sorry that I don't, at least you get a free bump out of it. :(
