Well, don't just sit there: get him there!
I have tried many times, he will not respond...

I will ask skyone, but just because someone HAS a phone number, it is not a given they will just give it out without permission.

The only situations that do not leave me in the dust are:

He gives me the order number+the money I had to pay to ship it to China.

Or, if he comes back too late, a new device/cash to get a new device+shipping.

I am actually MORE worried by the fact that this does not cost him money. If it was going to be hard to refund me, that is one thing, but this all points to simple evasion of all kinds. We have no way of knowing exactly what went down, but he owes an explanation at least.

Also, a lot of places will strip you of mod status simply for failing to show up for a while; He is obviously evading multiple people that he owes stuff to, and I do not think he should have mod privileges. If he comes back with a good reason, sure, re-instate him as a mod, but I cannot see any positives to him being a mod right now, and a whole lot of possible negatives.

Look at half of the staff. Also, he's not evading anyone as far as he says, and while you aren't inclined to believe that, I hold the right to. He's a good guy, and half the members on here know him well enough to defend him, too.

Good point. :P

If you are talking to him, would you please tell him I need the order number? Or even call and ask? I would much appreciate it.

And no matter how you put it, not sending multiple people their stuff and then failing to reply to their PMs (Which he has read) is not characteristic of a "good guy", and he would need an excuse as good as Neildo 64's, like 'My house burned down" or "My computer assploded and I was in the hospital" or "I was captured by Nazis".

Regardless of your opinion of him, his current behavior speaks for itself.

EDIT: After further reflection, I would also be sated by the excuse "The Nazis made my computer assplode, setting the house on fire, then captured me."

NAZI ZOMBIES!
Kyo wrote: let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe he's just really unreliable, in which case we could still get the money slash warranty back. He doesn't seem like the kinda guy who would just go crap insane and start scamming people. Besides what palmertech wants does not cost him any money and barely any time.
If a scammer seemed like a scammer, people wouldn't be scammed. Just look at that 12 year old selling 360 laptops.
Hey, sup?

just 411 him jeez.
Do exactly this
-Dial 411
-When they ask "city and state please"
-You use the place you sent the stuff to
-Then you ask for "The telephone number of ________on 012345 Whereishe St."
-"One moment please" they will say
-Hey _______ Im Palmertech wheres my stuff?

People are afraid of confrontation and will tell you whats going on, or hangup letting you know you have been scammed

Will do.

The last guy who scammed me blocked my number, then required caller identification. You have to state your name and business before he picks up.

I am gonna get that other guy, you watch.

Giggles aside, there are also nice people who can scam. Not that I can see him scamming, I'm just saying.

I agree with Kurt_ - this isn't the behaviour we should expect from a moderator. Months have gone by now.

I don't understand why half the people in this thread are even posting. This isn't so much a public as it is personal, anyway. :?

Well my point that it wouldn't cost him any money as palmertech already has the thing and it's still under warranty still stands.

It was some time since I checked Pixels to Polygons but maybe we can get a clue from there? If I didn't misunderstand anything, he's one of the three people in that podcast.

On a related note, does anyone know where cowsgoquack is? I bought a few things from him back in November and they still haven't arrived, sent him a few pm's since then with no replies.
