Have you checked whether your local game store is selling the game?

Good, good! *claps*

Anyway, it's probably caused by your memstick being too slow and can't pump data fast enough. Stick with standard quality or hold on to the UMD.

While its technically illegal either way, now its as if he'd just downloaded it.

Did it skip when you used the UMD? Maybe you need to up the processor speed.

oops forgot about the illegal stuff, sorry for that.

yeah it worked fine when it was on UMD, and its fine gameplay wise, its just the movies which is a pain because the cinematics on the game are extremely good.

ROMs and iso's are fine to talk about, just no telling specific sites to get them from.
What kind of card do you have? Maybe yours is slow, I've heard that Lexar cards tend to be a bit slower.

Just a thought:
If it's a CSO file it will have to uncompress to read, which typically makes it lag in videos.

If it is a CSO then you may want to try uncompressing it to an ISO. If it's already an ISO, then you may want to try a different card. They do differ in speeds. Figure out if yours is fake, because they are usually slower.
